Team Axarsport - Travel.

Granada airport is within 45 minutes of Alhama de Granada and is now served by Ryanair flights from Liverpool, Stansted and Gatwick. It is a small airport, easy to get around and quiet compared to Malaga which has to deal with hundreds of flights per day.

Malaga airport is within 1.5 hours of Alhama de Granada and is well served by flights from Britain and Europe. At the moment, ( Feb 2006 ), there are major constructions and alterations being made to the airport. Parking is a major problem but hopefully this will be sorted out by mid summer.

If you use this airport and we are delayed in picking you up please wait in the Golf Bar area of the Arrivals hall, ( to your left as you enter ).

Team Axarsport provides all ground transportation including airport pickup and return in its fee. Even so we recommend hiring a car for increased flexibility. Car rental is very reasonable and we recommend that you use Helle Hollis. We have a special arrangement with this reputable company and can make all the necessary bookings.
